If I call HEAL from my cellphone, is it still a freecall?
Unfortunately not, it is therefore better to call us from a
landline. If you have a prepaid landline, but do not have any units,
you can still call HEAL.
May I remain anonymous, or do I have to give you my name?
Callers may remain anonymous if they so wish.
If an older person is assaulted or their house broken into,
is this elder abuse?
Each situation would need to be assessed. The most important
questions to ask is whether the victim was chosen because of his/her
age and / or vulnerability and whether there was a trust relationship
between victim and perpetrator.
